Soak Your Face In Green Tea

I usually wash my face twice a day. It’s a good thing because if I didn’t I would probably have oily and pimpled skin. I love to wear makeup and I pride myself on its application. Blue eyeshadow and red lipstick are my daily staples. I look quite amazing, I must admit. But let me get back to the point at hand: the washing of the face. I have found the best face wash ever - and it’s not water.

I drink a lot of green tea and I have often read about its antiaging effects on the skin, so I thought I would try something new — washing my face with it. I start out by using a mild cleanser and then soak a soft cloth with warm green tea and apply it to my face for a couple minutes. Since I have started this routine, I have noticed my face is smoother than ever! I plan to keep green tea as a part of my antiaging skin care routine as long as possible.

Demand for Organic Products

There has been a lot of information publicized recently about the potential dangers of consuming processed foods.  Often processed foods contain excess chemicals used as dyes or preservatives, and these can build up over time in the human body and lead to increased risk for serious health conditions.  When purchasing food that is certified organic, you can rest assured that the food you are eating is natural, and that it was harvested, prepared, and packaged through natural means.  Organic food comes in all different kinds; you’ll find organic potato chips, organic green tea, and organic fruits and vegetables at most grocery stores.  Stores have realized that their customers want healthy foods, and have thus begun to increase their stock of organic foods.

Consuming organic food can prolong your lifetime and your youthful years, and also give you more energy and allow you to feel better about what you’re eating.

healthy blood pressure

Hypertension, more commonly known as high blood pressure, is a serious condition that often results from other conditions, but can cause a host of problems and lead to illness.  The most common causes of hypertension include obesity, genetics, and age.  If hypertension remains untreated, it can increase the risk factors for strokes and heart attacks.  To reduce hypertension, there are a number of treatments.  First of all, if you are obese, it’s best to start working towards getting in shape with a diet and exercise regimen.  There are also various supplements and drugs that can be taken to reduce high blood pressure.

In general, healthy blood pressure is considered to be about 115 systolic and 75 diastolic, often represented as 115/75.  Risks for people more than 10 points above either of these ranges are significant, and increase exponentially.

They Call it Liver for a Reason

The liver is one of the most essential organs in your body, and one of the few organs you can’t live without; hence the name ‘liver’.  The liver acts as a filter for various toxins and harmful substances that are ingested.  The most common cause of liver problems is excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages.  For example, a man who frequents bars three to four nights per week will have significant damage to his liver eight to ten years later.  To care for your liver, avoid ingesting a lot of acidic beverages or foods, and also consider liver detox supplements.

Several liver detox supplements are recommended by doctors for heavy drinkers and sometimes elderly people.  With a liver detox, you can remove some of the harmful toxins that the liver has captured and filtered over the years, and ensure that it is more healthy for years to come.

Multivitamins help to address the deficiencies of valuable vitamins and minerals within our body.  By taking multivitamins and eating right, you can prevent illnesses from ever slipping past your body’s natural defenses.  In addition, taking multivitamins can also help to combat illnesses.  For example, if a person is obese and trying to lose weight, multivitamins with green tea extract can provide valuable anti oxidants which will burn calories.  If you have a common cold it’s important to take multivitamins with vitamin C to combat existing symptoms and even the onslaught of more symptoms.

Maintaining the proper balances of vitamins and minerals in your body will help you to lead a healthier, more energetic life.  It’s also quite important for growing children, as vitamins can contribute to or hinder their natural growth.

breast exam

In their lifetimes, several women will develop breast issues, and it is important to maintain breast health through regular Breast Self-Examinations (BSEs).  To perform a BSE, simply move your hand over your breast, and begin from the middle pressing outwards in a nautilus like circle, checking for lumps or bumps.  Should you discover a lump or bump, do not panic, but immediately consult a doctor.  If breast health issues are discovered early, they can be remedied by simple medicine.

Serious health issues can arise if a lump is not discovered within a few months of its forming, leading to conditions like breast cancer.  The importance of regular BSEs is to avoid development of more serious conditions.  In addition, there are vitamin supplements which can also be taken in addition to BSEs to further reduce the risk of breast health issues.

green tea

As part of the daily intake of several million of the healthiest people in the world, green tea can be an essential component of good health.  Asian cultures, mainly China and Japan, have consumed green tea for centuries, with the tea now growing popular in other areas in the world.  This increase in popularity is commonly attributed to the tea’s proven ability to oxidize fat, actually burning calories by consuming it, as well as a variety of other beneficial healing effects.  Green tea contains about a third as much caffeine as a similar amount of coffee, but because of its benefits, is being more frequently chosen.

In addition to the actual green tea, green tea extract is used in a wide variety of products including anti-aging creams, weight loss supplements, and as a detoxifier for harmful substances within the body.
